Abstract:
The present invention pertains to: a neurite outgrowth promotion kit which contains a γ-secretase inhibitor or a GADD45G expression vector, and significantly promotes, in comparison to a control, neurite outgrowth in nerve cells by acting on a neurosphere so as to cause induced differentiation into nerve cells; a method for producing a neurosphere for treatment of spinal cord injuries which involves a step for applying the neurite outgrowth promotion kit to a neurosphere derived from pluripotent stem cells; a neurosphere for treatment of spinal cord injuries; and a method for selecting a neurosphere for treatment of spinal cord injuries and a method for screening neurite outgrowth promoters.
