Abstract:
A writing brush and method for making said brush. The writing brush comprises a brush shaft (1) and a brush head (2), wherein the brush head (2) is fixed at an end of the brush shaft (1); the brush head (2), in sequence from inside to outside, comprises a brush core (2-1), a first covering bristle layer (2-2), a second covering bristle layer (2-3), and a third covering bristle layer (2-4); the brush core (2-1) is made by combining common goat hair, goat beard hair, and filaments; the first covering bristle layer (2-2) is made by combining common goat hair and filaments; the second covering bristle layer (2-3) is a layer of bird feathers; the third covering bristle layer (2-4) is a layer of down feathers. The method for making the writing brush, in sequential order, is: preparing the raw materials; making the brush core; adding the first covering bristle layer; adding the second covering bristle layer; adding the third covering bristle layer; and mounting the head. The writing brush made from the present method provides good firmness when writing, has a favorable resistance, is durable, has a brush head that comes to a sharp point, holds a large amount of ink, is aptly flexible, and possesses a good anti-fraying effect. Also, the brush head is made from a more diverse selection of materials and is more attractive in appearance.
