Abstract:
A noise reduction method and system are provided. The method includes: obtaining information of a vibration from movement information detected by at least one sensor in a portable device; obtaining an estimated signal of a noise signal which is generated in the air by the vibration based on the information of the vibration; obtaining a cancellation signal based on the estimated signal; and outputting the cancellation signal to an audio output device to play the cancellation signal in the air. By using the sensor in the portable device, the method is simple and convenient, and no extra hardware is required.
