Abstract:
Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of suppressing internal short-circuiting caused by deformation of a negative electrode. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: a rolled electrode body in which a belt-like positive electrode and a belt-like negative electrode are rolled with a separator therebetween; and an exterior body that stores the electrode body. The positive electrode has a positive electrode collector (30), positive electrode mixture layers (32) formed on both the inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the positive electrode collector (30), and an insulative protection member (36) that covers, at a rolling inner end (11a) of the positive electrode, the leading end surfaces of the positive electrode collector (30) and the positive electrode mixture layers (32) in the rolling direction and covers the surfaces of the positive electrode mixture layers (32) on the inner circumferential side.
