Title:
NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE AND NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/026851
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a non-aqueous electrolyte used in a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which the negative electrode includes any of silicon compounds, germanium compounds, and tin compounds as negative electrode active material particles, the non-aqueous electrolyte including at least one or more silane compounds selected from the silane compounds represented by the following general formulae (1) and (2). This provides a non-aqueous electrolyte and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which the battery cells are not susceptible to swelling, even when a negative electrode material such as a silicon material or the like is used. (In the formulae, R1 each independently represents a C2-20 alkenyl group or an alkynyl group, R2 each independently represents a C1-20 alkyl group, and X each independently represents a C1-20 alkylene group, a C2-20 alkenylene group, or an alkynylene group. In addition, l each independently represents an integer of 1-3, and m each independently represents an integer of 1-2.
