Abstract:
When a non-oriented electrical steel plate is manufactured by hot rolling a slab including predetermined amounts of C, Si, Mn, Al, N and Cr, annealing the hot-rolled plate, cold rolling, and finish annealing in a continuous annealing furnace, a non-oriented electrical steel plate with low core loss in a high-frequency region is obtained by setting the maximum reached temperature of the finish annealing to 900°C or more, the average cooling rate from the temperature of (the maximum reached temperature - 50°C) to 500°C in the cooling process of the finish annealing to 40°C/s or more, a parameter ε/t defined from the plastic elongation rate ε (%) in the rolling direction before and after the finish annealing and the soaking time t (s) of the finish annealing to 0.10 or more, the average grain size of ferrite to 50 μm or more, and each of the compressive residual stresses σS and σC in the plate width direction at the steel plate surface and the plate thickness center, which are determined by an X-ray stress measurement method, to 2.0 MPa or more.
