Abstract:
The present invention achieves both a reduction in iron loss and an increase in magnetic flux density of an Si-gradient magnetic material. The present invention is a multi-layered electromagnetic steel sheet having a laminated structure formed from an inner layer part and surface layer parts positioned on both sides of the inner layer part. The surface layer parts and the inner layer part have a predetermined component composition, wherein: ∆Si, which is defined as a difference ([Si]1 - [Si]0) between Si content [Si]1 in the surface layer parts and Si content [Si]0 in the inner layer part, is 0.5 to 3.3 mass%; the ratio (t1/t) of total thickness t1 of the surface layer parts to sheet thickness t of the electromagnetic steel sheet is 0.08 to 0.73; the ratio (B50/Bs) of saturation magnetization Bs to magnetic flux density B50 at magnetic field intensity of 5,000 A/m is 0.825 or higher; and iron loss W10/10k and the sheet thickness t satisfy the expression of W10/10k ≤ 25 + 6,900 x t at frequency of 10 kHz and maximum magnetic flux density of 1.0 T.
