Abstract:
The present invention achieves low iron loss and high magnetic flux density in a Si-gradient magnetic material. A multilayered electromagnetic steel sheet having a layered structure of an inner layer section and surface layer sections that are positioned on opposite sides of the inner layer section, wherein: the surface layer sections and the inner layer section have prescribed component compositions; ΔSi is 0.1-0.5 mass%, where ΔSi is defined as the difference ([Si]1–[Si]0) between the Si content [Si]1 in the surface layer sections and the Si content [Si]0 in the inner layer section; the ratio (t1/t) of the total thickness t1 of the surface layer sections to the sheet thickness t of the electromagnetic steel sheet is 0.04-0.78; the ratio (B50/Bs) of the saturation magnetization Bs and the magnetic flux density B50 at a magnetic field strength of 5000 A/m is 0.825 or greater; and the sheet thickness t and the iron loss W10/800 at a frequency of 800 Hz and a maximum magnetic flux density of 1.0 T satisfy the expression W10/800≤13+80×t.
