Title:
NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/156155
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a means that enables a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which contains a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt composite oxide as a positive electrode active material, to exhibit sufficient cycle characteristics. A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to the present invention comprises a power generation element that is obtained by laminating a positive electrode, which is obtained by forming a positive electrode active material layer containing a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt composite oxide on the surface of a collector, an electrolyte layer and a negative electrode. This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery satisfies at least one of the following requirements (1)-(4). (1) The value obtained by dividing the direct-current resistance [Ω] of the battery by the thermal resistance [(m·K)/W] in the plane direction of the battery is 0.05 or more. (2) The value obtained by dividing the series resistance [Ω] of the battery by the battery heat capacity [J/K] is 0.080 × 10-6 or more. (3) The value obtained by dividing the capacity [Ah] of the battery by the thermal resistance [(m·K)/W] in the plane direction of the battery is 880 or more. (4) The value obtained by dividing the capacity [Ah] of the battery by the battery heat capacity [J/K] is 0.05000 or more.
