Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel cacao polyphenol-containing composition for suppressing an increase in blood pressure. According to the present invention, provided is a cacao polyphenol-containing composition for suppressing an increase in blood pressure, the composition being characterized by further comprising whey protein. The cacao polyphenol content in the composition is, for example, 0.1 mass% or more. The mass ratio of the whey protein to the cacao polyphenol in the composition is, for example, 0.01-7.
