Abstract:
Provided are: a novel cyclic amine compound; and a process for producing a polyurethane resin using the cyclic amine compound. A 3-hydroxy-1,5-diazabicyclo[3.2.2]nonane represented by formula (1); and a process for producing a polyurethane resin, which uses a polyurethane resin production catalyst comprising the 3-hydroxy-1,5-diazabicyclo[3.2.2]nonane. When the compound represented by formula (1) has an optically active form, diastereomer or geometric isomer thereof, the compound includes, within the scope thereof, both a mixture of any two or more of the optically active form, the diastereomer and the geometric isomer and an isolated form of the optically active form, the diastereomer or the geometric isomer. [In formula (1), R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, a hydroxy group, a hydroxymethyl group, or an alkoxy group having 1-4 carbon atoms.]
