Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel peptide derivative containing a specific D-amino acid and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing, ameliorating, or treating ophthalmic diseases comprising same. The peptide derivative of the present invention may exhibit excellent anti-inflammatory activity and also show excellent improvement activity in dry eye syndrome and corneal damage models, thereby being able to effectively be used in preventing, ameliorating, and treating various eye diseases.
