Abstract:
A damper for a sliding door/window. The damper for the sliding door/window achieves the following technical effects: there is no need to form a guide groove on a damper housing (1) and a high-strength and high-performance material other than sheet metal can be used as the housing material, and thus, the structure and material of the housing (1) are improved and the overall structure has high strength and good stability, thereby avoiding structural deformation of the housing (1) caused by long-term use; there is no need to process the housing (1) in the form of two halves, and the housing can be directly integrally processed and formed during production, making it easier to control the accuracy of the overall structure, greatly simplifying an assembly process of the damper, and making scrappage less likely to occur in the assembly process; by providing a first limiting member (4) and a second limiting member (5) inside the housing (1), a toggle member (3) is prevented from moving back under the acting force of a tension spring, and there is no need to provide a perpendicular turning section of the guide groove, thereby avoiding the technical problem such as difficulty in moving the toggle member inwards again caused by the turning section being too close to perpendicular.
