Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a novel fusion protein for analyzing the crystal structure of IL-33; a method for producing same; and a crystallizing method. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a crystal having a size of at least 200 μm from which X-ray diffraction data of about 2-3 Å can be collected, and obtain a high-resolution structure. Since structural analysis of a complex formed by IL-33 and an inhibiting substance can be performed on the basis of the structure, the present invention is expected to be utilized as a platform protein for structural studies of cytokine proteins, and screening various drugs such as inhibiting compounds and peptides.
