Abstract:
This object recognition method comprises generating clusters at a fixed cycle by clustering distance measurement points acquired from an object detection sensor, correlating the clusters on an image captured by an imaging means, setting a region on an image to which a cluster corresponds as a processing region, extracting a feature point from the image in the set processing region, calculating the movement speed of the extracted feature point, and determining whether a cluster from a different time point is a cluster of the same object on the basis of the difference in position between two feature points corresponding to the cluster from the different time and the difference in movement speed between the two feature points corresponding to the cluster from the different time.
