Abstract:
In the present invention, an image acquisition unit (21) acquires an image of the inside of a vehicle (10), the image being captured by an infrared camera (7) installed in a posture-adjustable rear-view mirror (1). When the posture of the rear-view mirror (1) is adjusted for use according to the original purpose thereof, an equipment detection unit (22) sets equipment to be imaged by the infrared camera (7) to a rear window (12), sets an equipment detection region (13) to a predetermined position in the image acquired by the image acquisition unit (21), and detects the rear window (12) from the equipment detection region (13). When the rear window (12) is detected by the equipment detection unit (22), a monitoring region setting unit (23) sets an occupant monitoring region (15) in the image on the basis of an image position of the rear window (12). An occupant monitoring unit (24) monitors a driver (11) using the image of the occupant monitoring region (15).
