Abstract:
Provided are an open type resonator which suppresses the influence on a resonant frequency of environmental changes such as humidity in a space having disposed therein a sample of which the dielectric property is to be measured, and a method for measuring a dielectric property employing the same. This open type resonator comprises: a first spherical reflecting mirror having a signal introduction portion; a second spherical reflecting mirror which has a signal detecting portion and which is disposed facing the first spherical reflecting mirror; a sample stage disposed between the first spherical reflecting mirror and the second spherical reflecting mirror; a cover for covering a space between the first spherical reflecting mirror and the second spherical reflecting mirror in which the sample stage is disposed; and a blowing mechanism for exchanging air in the space.
