Abstract:
An operating device (1) capable of performing a rotating operation by a rotating knob, making compatible an increase in operating speed and reliability, and eliminating the need of using a plurality of rotating knobs therefor, comprising the rotating knob (4) and a rotation detecting means (8) for detecting the rotating angle of the rotating knob (4), the rotating knob further comprising a small diameter part (4F) for operating the knob at a high speed, a large diameter part (4S) operated at a low speed or operated for fine adjustment, and a setting means (9) for setting the rotating position of the knob when the rotating knob is operated.
