Title:
OPTICAL CONVERSION LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE HAVING ENHANCED LIGHT EMISSION EFFICIENCY USING ANISOTROPIC METAL NANOPARTICLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/189188
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a light-emitting device, which controls two or more types of surface plasmon resonance bands of anisotropic metal nanoparticles to be formed in the near ultraviolet ray area and the visible light area to optimize the overlapping with the wavelength of near ultraviolet rays or a blue light source and the absorption wavelength and emission wavelength of a light-emitting material, thereby achieving both excitation enhancement and emission enhancement of the light-emitting material to improve the light-emitting efficiency. Further, the present invention relates to a light-emitting device, which controls each of two or more types of surface plasmon resonance bands of anisotropic metal nanoparticles to overlap with the absorption and emission wavelengths of two or more kinds of light-emitting materials having different emission wavelengths, thereby achieving simultaneous emission enhancement of two or more types of light-emitting materials to improve the color purity and the luminance.
