Disclosed in the present invention are an optical fiber bus RoF-based distributed Internet of Things terminal system and method, said system comprising a core application part, a pre-channel part, a transmission channel part, an acquisition site part, an acquisition terminal part, and a data source; the present invention uses the radio over fiber (ROF) principle to adapt to universally socialized, decentralized, vertical, fine, fully traceable and full-life-cycle management and control, and instant, real-time, online, interactive and distributed Internet of Things applications; by integration of applications, the present invention improves the social efficiency and saves the social cost; the present invention can integrate applications into any application system, achieving dynamic, instant, real-time, online and centimeter-level application positioning; the present invention can deduce the specific position of a positioning device; and the present invention combines ROF and RFID technologies, combines a high-speed bus and RFID technology, and solves the "last one kilometer problem" in online and offline use of RFID and entity.
