Abstract:
This optical fiber holding component is disposed inside a ferrule and holds a plurality of optical fibers, the optical fiber holding component comprising: a first end surface and a second end surface which face each other in a first direction; a plurality of through-holes which pass through the first end surface and the second end surface in the first direction and are aligned in a second direction crossing the first direction, and through which the plurality of optical fibers can be respectively inserted; and a plurality of injection holes which extend in a direction crossing the plurality of through-holes and are individually connected to the plurality of through-holes, and into which an adhesive for bonding the plurality of optical fibers to the plurality of through-holes can be injected.
