Abstract:
An optical structure and an optical device, comprising a waveguide, and an in-coupling grating, a first out-coupling grating, a second out-coupling grating, and a third out-coupling grating disposed on the waveguide. The third out-coupling grating is located between the first and second out-coupling gratings, and the in-coupling grating is located on the same side of the first, second and third out-coupling gratings. Light emitted by the in-coupling grating is incident to the third out-coupling grating by means of the waveguide so as to generate a first light component that is maintained within the range of the third out-coupling grating. The diffraction efficiency of the optical structure is improved.
