Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an optical system device capable of emitting light having a high contrast; and a method for manufacturing the optical system device. This optical system device comprises: an optical element 2 in which lenses, which have a focal distance f and through which light having a wavelength λ passes, are periodically arranged at a pitch P; an irradiation unit 1 that has a light source and that irradiates the lenses with light having said wavelength λ; a bottom member to which the irradiation unit is fixed; a side member for fixing the optical element and the bottom member; and one or both of an upper end-side adhesive layer for bonding the optical element with the upper end of the side member and a lower end-side adhesive layer for bonding the bottom member with the lower end of the side member. When L1 represents the distance between the irradiation unit and the focal position of the optical element and n represents a natural number not less than 1, the distance L1 satisfies the following formula.
