Abstract:
This optical system includes a compound lens having a first lens and a second lens. The first lens has a convex surface and a first surface that protrudes outward in the radial direction of the compound lens from the outer peripheral edge of the convex surface, and a second lens has a concave surface that is joined to the convex surface and a second surface that protrudes outward in the radial direction from the outer peripheral edge of the concave surface and is joined to the first surface. The optical system satisfies conditional expressions (1), (2), and (3) when the length of the first surface along the radial direction is denoted by a [μm], the length of the second surface along the radial direction is denoted by b [μm], and the surface roughness of the second surface is denoted by Ra [μm]. (1): a < b (2): 100 μm ≤ a (3): 0.5 μm ≤ Ra ≤ 20 μm
