Abstract:
This optical system includes a compound lens having a first lens and a second lens. The first lens is formed from a resin, and the second lens is formed from glass. The optical system satisfies conditional formulae (1) and (2) where the maximum value of the thickness of the first lens is A (mm) and the minimum value of the thickness of the first lens is B (mm): Conditional formula (1): A/B≤10. Conditional formula (2): A≤3 mm. The resin satisfies conditional formula (3) where x (µm) is a plastic deformation amount if an indenter is pressed in at a loading rate of 200 mN/10 sec at an environmental temperature of 25°C. Conditional formula (3): 1.0 µm≤x≤4.0 µm.
