Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide an optical wireless communication method and apparatus. The optical wireless communication method comprises: a terminal device sending optical wireless communication (OWC) response information, wherein the OWC response information comprises a plurality of signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), the plurality of SNRs are obtained by means of the terminal device measuring a plurality of optical wireless signals, and the plurality of SNRs are used for determining a first network device that sends downlink data to the terminal device; and the terminal device acquiring the downlink data, wherein the first network device that sends the downlink data to the terminal device is selected on the basis of the SNRs of the optical wireless signals sent by a plurality of first network devices. Therefore, in a multiple light source coverage scenario, when the selected first network device sends downlink data, the inter-cell interference encountered is relatively small, thereby facilitating an improvement in the communication performance.
