Abstract:
The present application provides a transmission method and apparatus applied to tunneled direct link setup (TDLS), and is used to enable different STAs that are associated in the same multiple BSSID set to communicate on the basis of TDLS, so as to achieve point-to-point communication, increasing the rate of transmission and reducing delay. In the method, a first STA sends a first wireless frame, the first wireless frame comprising address information of an initiator, address information of a responder and a first BSSID, wherein the first BSSID is a BSSID in a multiple BSSID set to which the BSSID of a BSS in which the first STA is located belongs; and the first STA receives a second wireless frame, the second wireless frame being a response frame of the first wireless frame. The present application is applied to a wireless local area network (WLAN) system which supports IEEE 802.11ax next-generation WiFi protocols such as 802.11be, or EHT, and other 802.11 series protocols.
