The invention relates to an oral hygiene device, especially a toothbrush. The device consists of a handle (1) and a cleaning head (10) which is provided at the end of said handle and which supports an essentially flexible material (2) used for oral and dental hygiene. This material (2) is especially detachably fixed to the cleaning head.
