Provided is an organic EL display device that can more reliably suppress a leak current between adjacent pixels. The organic EL display device, which has pixels each including a light emitting region and a non-light emitting region, comprises: a first electrode; an organic insulation layer that is disposed in the non-light emitting region and covers an end of the first electrode; a first light emitting layer and a second light emitting layer arranged on both sides of the organic insulation layer; a second electrode on the first light emitting layer and the second light emitting layer; a carrier transport layer between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a first carrier blocking layer that is disposed on a carrier injection layer in a region where the organic insulation layer is disposed, wherein the carrier transport layer and the carrier injection layer overlap with each other in an overlapping region, the first carrier blocking layer is disposed in the non-light emitting region, and an end of the first carrier blocking layer is provided between the carrier transport layer and the carrier injection layer in the overlapping region.
