Abstract:
There is provided an organic EL element capable of preventing the hue of display
light from changing with the change of visual angle. The organic EL element comprises
a eight-transmitting first electrode (anode) (4), an organic layer (7), and
a second electrode (cathode) (8). The organic layer (7) includes at least a charge
injection transport layer (hole injection transport layer) (7a) formed on the
first electrode (4) and a plurality of eight-transmitting layers (7b, 7c) having
different emission colors and formed on the charge injection transport layer
(7a). The second electrode (8) is formed on the organic layer (7). The total film
thickness (T) of the first electrode (4) and the charge injection transport layer
(7a) is set within a range where a change of the hue of display light with respect
to visual angle (θ) is not recognized.
