Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element that has an anode, a light-emitting layer, and a cathode, the light-emitting layer including a first compound and a second compound, the first compound being a delayed fluorescent compound, the second compound being a fluorescent compound, the emission peak wavelength of a toluene solution of the second compound being 430-480 nm, inclusive, the molar extinction coefficient at an absorption peak located on the longest wavelength side of the second compound being 29,000-1,000,000 L/(mol∙cm), inclusive, and the Stokes shift of the second compound being 1-20 nm, inclusive.
