Abstract:
Provided is an organic electroluminescent element which comprises a light emitting layer, a first layer in contact with the light emitting layer on a positive electrode side, and a second layer in contact with the light emitting layer on a negative electrode side, wherein the light emitting layer includes first, second , and third compounds, the first layer includes a compound of formula (1), and the second layer includes a compound of formula (2), the first compound having fluorescence, the second compound having delayed fluorescence, and singlet energies S1 of the first, second, and third compounds satisfying, S1(M3)>S1(M2)>S1(M1). In formula (1), Ra1 to Ra5, Rb1 to Rb5, and Rc1 to Rc5 are each independently a substituent or the like, in formula (2), X1 to X3 are each independently an N atom or the like, Ar1 and Ar2 are each independently the group in formula (2A), an aryl group, or the like, and A is the group in formula (2A), in formula (2A), HAr is represented by formula (2B), a is 1 to 5, and L1 is a linking group or the like, and in formula (2B), X11 to X18 are each independently an N atom or the like, and Y1 is an O atom, S atom, N atom, or the like.
