Abstract:
An organic solid waste self-sustaining smoldering disposal method based on in-furnace catalytic oxidation, comprising the following steps: using a mixture of an organic solid waste, a porous medium material and a catalyst as a bed material filling in a smoldering furnace; and then, starting heating and introducing air into the smoldering furnace, so that the organic solid waste mixed in the porous medium material undergoes a smoldering reaction. When the unburned flue gas produced by the smoldering reaction passes through a pyrolysis reaction layer above a smoldering reaction surface, the unburned flue gas continues to react with the remaining oxygen under the action of a catalyst, thereby reducing the content of the exhaust gas from the smoldering reaction, and completing smoldering disposal of the organic solid waste. Said method organically combines catalytic oxidation technology with smoldering technology, and improves the further oxidation of the combustible gas components during the self-reaction process while improving the smoldering reaction process, reducing the emission of flue gas pollution.
