Abstract:
An oriented laminated polyester film to be pasted on automobile windowpanes which is constituted with the structure and the characteristic not less than three layers including a dye-containing intermediate layer, a ratio of a dye concentration CA in the outermost layer to that CB in the intermediate layer being not more than 0.5, a ratio of the sum DA of the thicknesses of the outermost layer to the thickness DZ of all the layers being 0.02-0.8, a thermal shrinkage factor SMD in the longitudinal direction of the film and a thermal shrinkage factor STD in the lateral direction of the film determined when the film is thermally treated for five minutes being 1.0-5.0 % and not more than 2.0 % respectively, an average coarseness Ra on center line of a film surface being 0.005-0.05 $g(m)m, a film haze H of all the layers being 5 %. In such a laminated film, the contamination thereof due to the dye during the manufacture of the film is minimized, the film having a high workability, which is displayed when the film is pasted on a curved windowpane of an automobile, and a high transparency.
