Abstract:
A MEMS oscillator is provided with: a feedback oscillation circuit that contains a MEMS resonator and an amplifier; and an automatic gain controller that receives output from the amplifier and controls the amplifier gain on the basis of said output in such a manner that the output level from the amplifier is maintained at a constant level. The MEMS oscillator comprises: an oscillation unit that outputs the output from the oscillator as a raw oscillation signal; and a correction unit that inputs the raw oscillation signal, generates a signal with a preset frequency from the raw oscillation signal, and outputs the signal with the preset frequency as an output signal. The correction unit inputs an information signal containing information concerning the gain of the MEMS resonator from the oscillation unit separately to the raw oscillation signal, corrects the frequency of the raw oscillation signal on the basis of the information signal, generates a signal with a preset frequency, and outputs the signal with the preset frequency as an output signal.
