Abstract:
Provided is a receiving device (111) that generates a plurality of audio clocks (RAC1, RAC2) based on a reference clock (RCLK), and generates audio clock information (IAC) that includes frequency information for the audio clocks. Also provided is a transmission device (101) that plays an audio clock (TAC1) with the frequency indicated by the audio clock information (IAC), and generates a plurality of audio clocks (TAC1, TAC2) based on same. During data transmission, the transmission device (101) selects a transmission audio clock (TAC) according to the sampling frequency information for the transmission audio data, and the reception device (111) selects a reception audio clock (RAC) according to the sampling frequency information separated from the transmission data.
