Abstract:
A voltage control type oscillator 11 comprises a piezoelectric element 20, a first package 30 incorporating the piezoelectric element 20, an electronic element 50, and a second package 60 further incorporating the electronic element 50 and the first package 30. The second package 60 has a base 60a on which the electronic element 50 and the first package 30 are mounted, and a lid 60b for airtightly sealing the electronic element 50 and the first package 30 together with the base 60a. The base 60a has a substrate portion 63 that includes a first main surface 61a and a second main surface 62, which are in a front-to-back relationship, and has the electronic element 50 mounted on the first main surface 61a, a first frame portion 84a that includes a first frame surface 61b for mounting the first package 30 and is located on the peripheral edge on the first main surface 61a, and a second frame portion 84b that includes a second frame surface 61c joined to the lid 60b and is located on the peripheral edge on the first frame surface 61b.
