Abstract:
The present invention relates to Oryza sativa homeobox 4 (OsHMB4) which is a plant development regulating protein derived from Oryza sativa, a gene encoding the protein, a recombinant vector comprising the gene, a host cell transformed with the recombinant vector, a method for regulating the development of plants by transforming plant cells with the recombinant vector; a method for preparing a transformed plant which has regulated development using the recombinant vector, the transformed plant which has regulated development prepared by the method and a seed thereof, and a composition for regulating the development of plants containing the gene.
