Abstract:
The present invention relates to a trim having a function for preventing cavitation, which is applied to a valve that is prone to cavitation due to the valve having a large pressure difference between pressure at an inlet and at an outlet, and the pressure at the outlet having a small difference from evaporation pressure of a used fluid. More particularly, the present invention provides the function for preventing cavitation by being equipped with a cage, which is one part of the trim, inside of the trim and providing means (through-hole) for inducing sequential pressure drops in the cage. In other words, the present invention relates to a pressure control-type cavitation prevention trim for preventing cavitation, which is provided with a plurality of cages and the through-holes, which are formed on each of the cages and communicate so as to form relief holes, wherein among the cages which are in contact, the size of the through-hole on the inner cage is always smaller than that of the outer cage, thereby gradually increasing the total cross-sectional area so that the last pressure drop equals the pressure at the outlet. More specifically, the present invention relates to the trim having the function for preventing cavitation, in which the increase rate of the cross-sectional area of a flow path in the relief holes increases at twice the rate of the cross-sectional area of the through-holes, and in which the number of flow path-passing branches increases two-fold.
