Abstract:
The present invention relates to an otoscope capable of simultaneously achieving multiple types of imaging by a non-invasive method. The present invention can not only simultaneously obtain a low-resolution tomographic image of the deep middle ear and/or a confocal high-resolution image of the proximal middle ear, but can also obtain a white-light image and/or a narrow-band image of the surface of the eardrum. Therefore, from the pathological viewpoint of the middle ear, it is possible to diagnose and assess the middle ear in a non-invasive manner without biopsy.
