Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an outer casing member which has excellent acid resistance and alkali resistance; and a method for producing this outer casing member. [Solution] An outer casing member according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a metal material that is formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and an anodic oxide layer that is formed on the surface of the metal material, while being also characterized in that: the anodic oxide layer has an infinite number of micropores; and a composite film layer, which is composed of a metal hydroxide and a metal oxide, is present on the surface part side of each one of the micropores.
