Abstract:
Provided is a sensor output correction system with which the problem whereby the correction value employed in zero point correction diverges from the actual amount of deviation of the zero point. An ECU is equipped with: a travel route information acquisition unit for acquiring the curvature of a route to be traveled by an automobile in which the system is installed; and a vehicle information acquisition unit for acquiring a detection value from a yaw rate sensor. On the basis of curvature acquired by the travel route information acquisition unit, the ECU determines whether the automobile in which the system is installed is travelling in a straight line, and on the basis of detection values from the yaw rate sensor collected during a time period in which the automobile in which the system is installed is travelling on a straight path, the ECU identifies a value that is equivalent to the current amount of deviation of the zero point of the yaw rate sensor (zero point-equivalent value). The identified zero point-equivalent value is then used to select a correction value for the purpose of deduction from detection values.
