Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transmission which is provided with a sub-transmission mechanism (30), a variator (20) which has a lower shift responsiveness than the sub-transmission mechanism (30), and a controller (12) which performs a coordinated shift in which, accompanying shifting of the sub-transmission mechanism (30), the transmission gear ratio of the variator (20) is changed in the direction opposite of the direction of change of the transmission gear ratio of the sub-transmission mechanism (30), in such a manner that the through gear ratio becomes the target through gear ratio. During a coordinated shift, the controller (12) sets a target gear ratio of the sub-transmission mechanism (30) on the basis of the target through gear ratio and the actual gear ratio of the variator.
