Abstract:
[Problem] To enable a mast to be easily separated into an upper mast and a lower mast and to reduce the work time required for separation. [Solution] An overhead conveyance vehicle 3 comprising: a traveling body 11 that travels along a track 4 provided on a ceiling 5 side of a facility; an upper mast 12 attached below the traveling body 11 and having upper guiding sections 12a; an elevation platform 13 that has an object 2 placed thereupon, is guided by the upper guiding sections 12a, and moves up and down along the upper mast 12; and an elevation drive device 15 provided in the traveling body 11 or the elevation platform 13 and driving the elevation platform 13 upward and downward. A lower mast 112 is provided detachably connected to the lower end of the upper mast 12, via a connection section 12b, said lower mast having lower guiding sections 112a configured so as to continue on from the upper guiding sections 12a. The elevation platform 13 can be lowered from the upper mast 12 along the lower mast 112, by the elevation drive device 15.
