Abstract:
Provided is a packaging body 1 for a wire coil 6, a plurality of packaging bodies holding the wire coils 6 sideways and being loaded into one shipping container 2, the packaging body 1 including: a plurality of base beams 15 that are disposed on a container floor surface 4 and that extend in one direction from a door of the shipping container 2 to the back; a cross beam 33 that extends in the width direction of the shipping container 2 and that couples the plurality of base beams 15; and a block-like coil-holding stand 19 that is provided on the cross beam 33, that includes a recessed section 21 in which the wire coil 6 is accommodated sideways with the axial direction of the cylinder thereof being aligned with the width direction of the shipping container 2, and to which the wire coil 6 is tied up. The coil-holding stand 19 has, on a front surface and a rear surface when viewed from a door 12 of the shipping container 2 to the back, corrugated engagement sections 23 of which the wave directions are directed in the width direction of the shipping container 2 in plan view. The corrugated engagement sections 23 are engaged with corrugated engagement sections 23 of another packaging body 1. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a packaging body capable of increasing the number of wire coils that can be loaded into a container, compared with the conventional art, without impairing the wire-coil protection function.
