Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and provides a packet forwarding method, apparatus and system. In the solution provided by the present application, a packet comprises not only a destination address but also a behavior instruction. Moreover, at least two nodes in the packet forwarding system can recognize the behavior instruction in the packet, and can forward the packet according to a first forwarding behavior indicated by the behavior instruction. Therefore, when multiple nodes in the packet forwarding system are all required to perform certain forwarding behaviors on the packet, there is no longer a need to assign an SID for each node separately, but only a need to carry the behavior instruction in the packet. The solution provided in the embodiments of the present application effectively decreases the number of SIDs required to be assigned in the system, and reduces the complexity of packet forwarding.
