Abstract:
A paging method and apparatus in communication network, the paging method includes
following steps: core network sends a paging request message to access network,
which takes the information for indicating next actions for user terminal; based
on the said paging request message that received, said access network sends the
paging message to terminal of target user, which takes said information for indicating
next actions; after receiving the said paging message, said user terminal initiates
relevant process based on said information for indicating next actions. In another
paging method in communication network, paging request message that core network
sends to access network, takes user list to achieve paging several users once.
Introducing the present invention can achieve the economization of message
spending, the predigestion of flows, and reducing the network delay.
