Abstract:
Provided is a panel unit for installing electric equipment, the panel unit allowing for changing position of the unit and suppressing irregularities in a wall surface as a whole. The panel unit 10 for installing electric equipment provided in a gap 5 between an upper panel 2 and a lower panel 3 that constitute a wall body 1 is provided with a pair of base frame bodies 20 that contact edge portions of the panels that constitute the gap, and a pair of equipment-mounting plates 30 that are fixed spaced apart from each other in the thickness direction of the panels between the pair of base frame bodies.
Each of the equipment-mounting plates has an opening 31 and an equipment-mounting part 32 for mounting electric equipment, and the base frame bodies have decorative-plate-engaging parts 29 more toward the outside in the thickness direction of the panels than the location at which the equipment-mounting plates are fixed. Decorative plates 50 that cover a portion excluding the surface of the electric equipment and are flush with the surfaces of the panels are fitted into the decorative-plate-engaging parts.
