Abstract:
The disclosed parallel data processing system is provided with processing units for performing generation, reading, and updating of objects and object-related information; consistency control units for returning consistent values for objects within each object cluster to the processing units; and an object-cluster correspondence assessment unit for, upon receiving an identifier of an object, returning an identifier of the consistency control unit for the object cluster including the object; wherein the processing units, when performing creation, reading, or updating of an object or object-related information, acquire an identifier of the consistency control unit for the object cluster including the object from the object-cluster correspondence assessment unit, and while accessing an object store unit, perform consistency control on the basis of the consistency control units. When a plurality of processing units access objects represented by a graph structure, consistency for each object cluster is retained and scalability is secured.
