Abstract:

An objective of the present invention is to provide a parking control device with which the drivability of a hybrid vehicle can be improved when executing a parking operation. This parking control device A1, which is for controlling the parking of a hybrid vehicle 1, is characterized by comprising a required power amount calculation unit 11, a power amount comparison unit 21, and a control unit 31, by the control unit 31 continuously performing battery travel or battery travel and engine travel and permitting engine charging during execution of a parking operation for parking the hybrid vehicle 1 if the usable power amount is smaller than the required power amount, and by the control unit 31 continuously performing battery travel and not continuously performing engine travel and engine charging during execution of a parking operation for parking the hybrid vehicle 1 if the usable power amount is greater than or equal to the required power amount.
